Academic Curriculum

As part of the effort to ensure the quality of training, macro- and micro-training programmes should always be evaluated regularly to determine whether they meet the current needs and conditions of dermatology and venereology health services. The DV UNS curriculum is not only aligned with current needs assessments but also with the Indonesian Physician Competency Standards (SKDI) recognised by the Indonesian Medical Council (KKI). With the effort to align the competence of doctors according to SKDI with the competence of dermatology and venereology specialists, it is hoped that a tiered referral system needs to be properly implemented as an important component of health insurance.

Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis Dermatologi dan Venereologi bertujuan untuk melatih dokter spesialis dermatologi dan venereologi berkompeten yang mampu memenuhi peran, tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka setelah menyelesaikan studi mereka dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Sebagai praktisi kesehatan, seorang dokter spesialis tidak hanya berperan sebagai ahli medis, tetapi juga bertindak sebagai komunikator, kolaborator, profesional, advokat kesehatan dan manajer. Agar seorang dokter spesialis bidang dermatologi dan venereologi dapat memikul semua peran, tugas dan tanggung jawab yang dijelaskan di atas, perlu untuk menentukan bidang kompetensi yang akan dilatih menggunakan kurikulum sebagaimana tercantum dalam grafik di bawah.
